Product Shadow

Product Shadow adds a clean, natural shadow beneath your item that follows the direction of the existing light. It reads the highlights on the product and floor to decide how soft, long, and dark the shadow should be, while the product itself stays completely unchanged. Cutout images that used to float in empty space immediately look grounded.

Reach for it when you have transparent or white-background images that look flat, when you assemble catalog pages from photos shot on different days, or when a supplier sends packshots with no shadow at all. Photos with one clear light source work best; heavy mixed lighting can confuse the direction and produce a muddy shadow.
